For supervisors: What is BSTperform?

This video will provide an overview of what BSTperform is and the benefits to using the platform.

BSTperform was developed by Behavior Science Technology and is a platform that helps applied behavior analysis service providers standardize their clinical operations and demonstrate quality service delivery. As a supervisor, BSTperform allows you to easily collect data on and display the performance of your supervisees over time. This information allows you to provide the adequate support for your supervisees to effectively carry out their job responsibilities as trained. It also assists you in making important clinical decisions that impact the quality care provided to those you supervise.

The software allows you to monitor your team's performance through observations and immediately provide feedback to your team. Each team member, including yourself will have a dashboard where you can see your performance over time. Using the data you’ve collected, you can create success and goal plans for your team’s performance to improve to your standards. There is a resource library that you can use to house items, such as journal articles. When conducting observations, you will collect data on your team’s clinical and professional performance, as well as environmental barriers. Clinical skills refers to those hard skills that are quantifiable, such as implementing a teaching procedure. Professionalism skills refers to soft skills, such as arriving to session on time. Environmental barriers refers to things in the work context that may be hindering performance, such as whether the team member has the required materials for session.
